in a pick from a selected group of water features. Each and every water feature
or waterfalls and stream we install is a custom water feature tailored to your
landscape and space. There will be no 2 water features alike. We don't accrue
the cost of the displays or the store front property. Believe it or not you will
most likely pay up to 40% more for a water feature buying it from a store front
property versus a custom installer. The main reason not to buy from a store
front property is they send out employees. Austin Texas Waterscapes has
employees but the owner is present for all aspects of your water feature from
design to construction and completion.
There
are many types and styles of waterfall landscapes. There is the first type of
waterfall and stream installation which is the stand alone waterfall and stream.
This waterfall will be constructed out of cinder blocks and little dirt. The
look of this style of water feature is that it is mostly all above ground with
the exception of the disappearing reservoir. More rock
will be used to conceal its construction. These waterfalls and streams are also
the fastest to install with little digging or dirt removal and will fit in many
small areas. This waterfall and stream will start around $3500.00 with an
additional $500.00 for plants and underwater lighting. The two photos below are examples of a waterfall and
stream under the $4000.00 price tag. (electrical not included.)
The
second type of waterfall and stream is cinder block and/or a dirt build up. The
dirt around these waterfalls and streams will give the illusion that the waterfall
was naturally built in to a hill. Most of the dirt will come from digging out
the pond and used for framing the waterfalls. There is more rock used in this
style of waterfall. The installation of waterfalls with a pond takes about 3 to
4 times longer than the first style of pondless waterfalls. Style 2 can also
incorporate multiple waterfalls or a running stream or babbling brook.. Plants and underwater lights
will cost a little more than style 1. These waterfalls will start around
$9500.00 with an additional $500.00 to $1000.00 for plants and underwater lighting. These two photos are examples of a waterfall and stream

The
third type of waterfall and stream will be built into existing landscape. The
landscape may be a sloped back yard and the waterfall will have to be constructed
into the hill. This style will be the most natural looking of the three style of
waterfall and streams. The excavating of the property in this style of waterfall
or stream will take about 2 to 3 times longer than style two water features.
Pumps and material will need to be upgraded from style one and two. These types
of water features can't be installed in your normal neighborhood lots, you must
have available land to work with. These waterfalls and streams will start around
$30,00.00 with an additional $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 for plants and underwater
